An ever evolving road…

As the art and craft of surgery is evolving so are modern techniques.

The Caribbean Society of Endoscopic Surgeons (CaSES) was formed to vanguard the principles of safe surgery and quality driven performance and evolution in the field of endoscopic techniques, be it in the field of general surgery, interventional gastroenterology, urology, gynecology or vascular intervention.

The CaSES does so by having a myriad of platforms to ensure interchanging of ideas, experience and consensus towards better care for the patients in the field of endoscopic surgery.

Towards this end the CaSES has a history of organizing workshops, conferences, live surgery sessions and an outreach program. In addition CaSES is working on affiliation with the different international quality platforms.

The CaSES has hosted an annual conference over the last 5 years going from island to island to promote and vanguard the art and craft of endoscopic surgery.

As a CaSES member you will be updated on the yearly organized events through this website and newsletters.

TESTIMONIALS

CaSES has been a great at allowing Caribbean surgeons to share experiences and learn from each other and this has been especially beneficial for low resource smaller countries within the region.

Dr Charles Greenidge

I am happy to be a part of this prestigious group of surgeons who are always striving to provide the best care for their patients.

Dr Wesley Francis

To me, CaSES means advancement for Caribbean surgery so that even in a 'country' hospital like Percy Junor Hospital in Jamaica a patient may get appendectomy, hernia repair, colectomy, tubal ligation, cholecystectomy or even hysterectomy done laparoscopically. CaSES gives strength to surgeons in the Caribbean who want patients to have these options.

Dr. Carlos B. Wilson
